Sweet... and healthy! Jan 26, 2008

This is one of the best forms of stevia that I've found. As a health counselor, I advise clients to use natural sweetners, like stevia, that don't wreak havoc on blood sugar levels. This liquid extract is less processed than the white powder forms of stevia and great tasting too!

Hands down the best sweetener Jun 30, 2009
By Tracy Maurstad I have to throw my two cents in here to counteract the few negative reviews. If you get a bitter aftertaste YOU'RE USING TOO MUCH!
I put 10 drops in my 16oz cups of tea. It doesn't taste bitter, it just tastes pleasantly sweet. I've given it to guests without telling them it's stevia and have never had anyone comment on any strange or bad taste, they only ask for more tea! It's also makes wonderful fresh lemonade. In a big pitcher I put the juice of 4-6 lemons (4 large, 6 average), 40 drops of Stevita and water. I occasionally thinly slice some fresh ginger and add it as well. Very refreshing. I serve our lemonade often and again, no guest has ever commented except to say it's "awesome" and to ask for more.
I've tried other brands of stevia, and Stevita is absolutely the best. Other brands are not as picky about their growing and processing and it can result in a bitter aftertaste. But not Stevita. Plus, it's organic and is not genetically modified (Purevia and Truvia can't say that!).

Love it! Oct 27, 2009

I have used Stevia extract as a sugar replacement for a few years now and have found some products to be better than others. Because of its' liquid nature it blends extremely well and I detected absolutely no bitter taste when consuming. I find that combining sugar substitutes gives the sweetness a more well rounded flaver and for a glass of strong iced green tea a few drops of Stevita Co. Inc., Liquid Stevia Extract and 1/8th of a teaspoon of Splenda granules to be sweet tea heaven! I'm buying some more of this great deal right now!

Good price Jan 23, 2009
By April Fear I like using liquid stevia in drinks because it is easier to regulate than the powdered form. This brand is priced low, but I find I need to use almost twice as much as the SweetLeaf brand.

Best Stevia You Can Buy! Jun 16, 2008
By Jules I have tried some other brands of Stevia and this is my favorite! It is very light and mixes easily! A little goes a long way! Squeeze some fresh lemons into ice water, add a few drops of Stevia and you have a very refreshing beverage! Stevia is great for people with Diabetes, I believe that it has other health purposes too! Splenda and Equal are gross and really unhealthy!
