A half-pound of odor-stopping power Aug 09, 2009
By Joseph Ekaitis
"author of Collinsfort Village"
There's nothing namby-pamby about a nice smelling bathroom, but heavy perfume isn't the answer. I tried Glade Scented Oil and discovered that the fragrance doesn't eliminate bathroom odors. It mixes with them, creating an unpleasant olfactory cocktail.
When I picked up one of these at the market, I was impressed by its heft. The large surface area gets more of the product into the air where it sends odors packing. Instead of a heavy cloud of phony florals, a wisp of orange zest lets you know it's working.
Of course, you'll also know it's working when you no longer hear shouts of "Shut that door!" as you emerge from the, uh, reading room.

If you own a Parrot such as a Macaw or Cuckatoo this is the stuff for you. It contains no toxins and is safe to use around your pets. Try it.

Works! Jun 20, 2009
By Lynnster I've been fighting "stale closet smell" in my bedroom closet for 19 years since we built our house. Tried everything to no avail.
I recently put a Citrus Magic in Pure Linen scent in the closet & that STALE ODOR is totally gone! Amazing! Still working and it's been a couple of months..
I don't know how well it will work in a more open environment, but I'm going to try using a few in a small room where we keep a litter box. The scoopable litter I use destroys bad odors (never a smell of ammonia or poop), but I don't care for the scent that the litter gives off when doing it's work. And, because the door must remain open to this room, the odor often permeates the hallway & foyer due to the open door. I'm hoping Citrus Magic will help with this. If it works, I'll let you know.
I'm also going to pop one into each air return for our a/c & heating system just to keep the whole house a bit fresher in general. Can't hurt!

Holy crap it actually works! Mar 24, 2011
By Jermark We have a dog and my roommate has really stinky feet. We also smoke in the house. It can get kind of gross. There's been a constant "weird" smell that I can't quite put my finger on - maybe it's a combination of dog, feet and smoke among other things. I've tried sprays, carpet deodorizer, febreeze, candles, about everything. This was my last resort, and I'm very pleased to announce that it worked. I've only had it in the house for a few days, but the air now seems much fresher. The smell of funk and dog is finally gone. I've found that I can move it around the house to different rooms, let it sit for a couple of hours, and the room is miraculously free and clear of bad odors. I have no idea how this thing works, but this skeptical buyer is now a true believer!

Ok at first but then putter's out Sep 26, 2009

I bought this to put near my baby's diaper pail and while the smell, when you can smell it, is good and fresh it doesn't take away all the smell associated with the diaper pail. Worked really good the first couple of days then effectivness dropped off big time. I have the orange scent in the bathroom and it works pretty well. But it does still loose its scent unless you are right up on it. I really wanted to like this product but it isn't any better than other air fresheners on the market.
