Adult Right Scuba Toothbrush

Pack colors are pre - assorted and subject to change. The rubber construction produces a toothbrush with a wide oval head that flexes back and forth to remind us to reduce the pressure of brushing. Available in right or left hand orientation with a large soft handle for sensitive brushing. The very fine Tynex nylon bristles make it much softer than regular brushes - while the mass of bristle tips (6,000 - over 3 times more than regular) massages the gums and removes plaque effectively. The extra bristles make it more durable and 60% of our users report it lasting three times longer. The right or left hand orientation automatically places the bristles at the 45 degrees recommended by the ADA. Ecologically packaged in a useful travel case.

better than any toothbrush i've seen. better than motorized ones too. Big head that brushes your entire teeth, and confortable handle. They last longer too verus "regular" toothbrushes. pick this one up.

5The best toothbrush ever!  Aug 13, 2005
By J. Redinger
I can finally end my life long search for the world's best toothbrush. I LOVE my scuba and will never use anything else. The other day I used my old toothbrush because I was in a hurry and it was right there. It felt like I was using half of a toothbrush! I cannot say enough about the greatness of this product!

3Not A Perfect Fit  Feb 11, 2011
By Kort "Art, Music, Book & Movie Enthusiast"
I'm a six-foot tall guy and would say I'm slightly above average in size. I've got a big mouth too (just ask my wife). You'd think that the Radius Scuba brush would be a perfect fit for me. When it comes to fitting in my hand the yes, it's perfect. The design of the handle maximizes grip and precision like no other toothbrush out there. It comes in either right or left hand styles to insure you get the best possible control over the brush action. The bottom portion of the handle feel modeled for my palm, the thumb rest in just the right spot and with ridges for traction, and the opposite side of the thumb rest is dimpled to provide even better grip for your fingers.

And then there is the oversized brush head. Many people love it, I know I wanted to. I'll admit that it is better than using most standard toothbrushes with its extra coverage and soft bristles. It is also terrific for brushing your tongue. A smaller bristled brush takes quite a few strokes to clean the tongue while Scuba only takes a few swipes. My only complaint is that I found it too large. When brushing it feels uncomfortably bulky. After I finish, it feels like I've missed spots at the very back corners of my mouth. Factor in its high cost and need to replace the whole brush when the bristles wear out, and suddenly I become less enamored with it.

I've found the perfect toothbrush in its slightly more compact sibling, the Radius Source. It costs less than the Scuba, has replaceable heads, and comes with two of them so it's like getting two brushes for the same lower price. When finished, I can dispose of the head and be glad that there is that much less waste going into a landfill somewhere. Its handle is not quite as ergonomic as the Scuba and the head isn't so large, but it is still larger than most toothbrushes and joy to use.

I'm not saying the Radius Scuba isn't a great toothbrush. I doubt it would have such a loyal following if it weren't. It just might not be the perfect fit for everyone, and it is more expensive and more wasteful. In the end, you have to figure out what works best for you, but for me, it isn't the Radius Scuba.

5radius scuba toothbrush  Jul 16, 2007
By K. hughes
hands down the best toothbrush ever including sonicare. worth the extra money. my only problem with radius is that they don't come in cases anymore. they are odd-sized so they don't fit in any other cases you can buy at a store.

5Best Toothbrush in the World  Dec 06, 2010
By Wayne
Since I started using these toothbrushes, I have not had any problems. You cannot go wrong with the built in flex you really can't push too hard. The bristles clean your pearly whites with conviction. Match them with some high quality toothpaste from a real health store (such as a product from JASON) and you will have some seriously good oral hygeine going on.
